Polka

For almost 200 years, the Polka has been an important part of the cultural traditions of several central and eastern European countries.

Germany is one of them and we keep the tradition alive at the GACSRI.

Several times each year, we host a celebration featuring the music and dancing that has made the Polka so beloved by young and old alike.

Ita no accident that many scenes from the Jack Black film "The Polka King" were filmed at the GACSRI!

Join us Sunday, April 28th from 1 to 6 pm for our Spring 2019 Polka!

Here's a chance to put aside your cares, put down your mobile device and spend time with friends.

There will be lots of good, old fashioned fun in the Great Hall as

Dennis Polisky and the Maestro Men play all your polka favorites.

It's great exercise and a touch of simpler times.  Remember... an afternoon with

Polka lovers is good for the soul!  Come dance, eat, drink and have a wonderful time.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 at the door.  Food (cash only) will be served

from 1 pm on.  Credit cards are gladly accepted at the bar.
